3Vocational Training Institute

The Vocational Training Institute is providing training programs for future HVAC/R technicians.

The school consists of two main classrooms where students learn theory and a workshop where students practice diagnostics and troubleshooting procedures.

4Avalon School of Cosmetology

Avalon School of Cosmetology is offering classes for future Cosmetologists, Esthetician, and Make-up Artists.

Avalon School of Cosmetology is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences and licensed to operate by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology.

5UEI College

UEI College is providing vocational training in industries such as computer technology, HVAC, and medical/dental.

The Phoenix campus was opened in 2015.

The facility has 25 classrooms, a dental lab, two allied health labs, two HVAC labs, one Information Technology lab, and computer labs.

Students also have access to a library, study rooms, and outdoor areas.

The programs can be completed in 10 months.

After graduating from one of the College’s programs, students are ready for entry-level employment in their field.

West Coast Ultrasound Institute is a private postsecondary vocational college.

7West - MEC

West-MEC is offering training programs for high school students and adults.

West-MEC’s 3,685 square mile district boundary covers the northern and western cities of Maricopa County, providing career and technical education at its four campuses: in Glendale, Phoenix, Surprise, and Buckeye.

Founded in 1975, the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery is the longest-running guitar making school in America.

The 880-hour course taught by Roberto-Venn is designed to teach the basic skills needed for a career in guitar-making, guitar repair, and other related fields.

During the five months of class students learn guitar construction techniques, build a minimum of one acoustic and one electric guitar, and complete basic guitar repairs and setup operations.
