4Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design

Another great school for future beauty professionals in Utah is Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design.

The Academy has 3 locations in Utah: in Orem, West Jordan and St. George.

Experienced instructors teach students the skills to become proficient cosmetologists or barbers.

5RTDS Trucking School

RTDS offers different truck driving training programs designed to give students a complete CDL A test preparation.

The school provides classroom, range and road training.

During classroom training, students learn through watching videos, book work, demonstrations, and lectures.

Students will be tested on all subject matters before beginning field training.

During range-training, the instructor provides students a clear training at the RTDS training yard.

The road training is the final part of the CDL A training.

Students will practice right and left turns in stop and go traffic, visual search, shifting skills in light highways, interstates and rural routes and, most importantly, they will practice safe driving.

6The ccCNA Certified Nursing Assistant Classes

The ccCNA Certified Nursing Assistant Classes teach students the knowledge and skills required to work as a CNA in Utah.

The 100-hour program can be completed in approximately two weeks.

The program includes 60 hours of classroom training and 40 hours of hands-on learning.

After passing the ccCNA final exam, the school enters your name and address into a state computer system, indicating that you are prepared to take the State Exam.

UNAR will immediately send you an email with information on how to pay and schedule your certification exam.

The CNA state exam is broken into two parts: a written part, and a skills part and it costs $75.

The ccCNA nurse aide program is approved and monitored by the Utah Nursing Assistant Registry.

7Healing Mountain Massage School

The Healing Mountain Massage School provides massage therapy training, spa therapy training, and a holistic health practitioner diploma program.

The school offers beginning, intermediate and advanced classes.

Students can choose between morning and evening classes.

8Renaissance Academie Cosmetology and Esthetics

At the Renaissance Academie Cosmetology and Esthetics, students learn the art of color, precision haircutting, chemical texture, skincare, nail care, makeup, extensions, and much more.

The school has certified instructors available every day of the week and offers free live test preparation classes on the first Saturday of each month.
