10Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Service Journeymen Union

About the Union

Plumbers, Pipefitters, and HVAC Service Journeymen Union offer training programs for its members.

To qualify for admission to the JATC training program applicants need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Transcript of courses and grades
  • Proof of age- applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Records of previous work experience, if any
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A Social Security Card

The Union has a state-of-the-art school that offers training in plumbing, pipe fitting, and HVAC.

The curriculum also covers trade-related math, isometric drawing, OSHA classes, Hydronics, and air conditioning, among other topics.

Their apprenticeship program consists of five years of on-the-job training and classes.
