7Montana Boiler School

About the School

Montana Boiler School offers a locally taught 32-hour course that covers the safe operation and maintenance of low-pressure and third-class commercial boilers.

The course is taught on a weekday or Saturday, based on the availability of the course instructor, once a week for four consecutive weeks.

The Low-Pressure Course costs $685.

The course prepares students for not in excess of 15 PSI steam and water boilers operating not in excess of 50 PSI hot water and a 250-degree temperature.

The third class course costs $720 and prepares students for not in excess of 150 PSI steam and water boilers operating not in excess of 160 PSI and 350 degrees temperature.

Fees include all required materials and are refundable if the class is canceled.

They are not refundable but will be held as credit for a future class if the student cancels.
