About the School

The University of New Mexico School of Medicine provides primary care medicine training for more than 25 years.

The Physician Assistant program available at the university is designed to be completed in 27 months and leads to a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

Students receive hands-on training in a variety of skills, from dissection experience during the Anatomy Lab to continuing clinic experience in the first year of training.
