IEC of Kansas provides apprenticeships and continuing education classes.
The apprenticeship is federally recognized and available at more than 50 chapters across the United States.
The apprenticeship consists of a minimum of 576 hours of classroom instruction and a minimum of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.
The on-the-job training part takes place at an electrical contracting company.

Peaslee Tech offers technical training in Lawrence, Kansas.
